It adopts an advanced hydraulic control system, which drives the clamping mechanism through a hydraulic cylinder to achieve fast and strong clamping and fixing of the valve, and then conducts sealing performance tests (shell test and sealing test) and strength tests on the valve. This equipment is widely used in quality control, product acceptance, and maintenance testing in industries such as valve manufacturing, petrochemicals, electricity, water supply, and gas. It is a key equipment to ensure the safe and reliable operation of valves.

Core working principle

The core of the equipment lies in the “hydraulic clamping” technology. During operation, the hydraulic pump station generates high-pressure oil, which drives the symmetrically arranged hydraulic cylinders to move synchronously, pushing the clamping arm or pressure plate, and firmly fixing it on a closed test chamber or end face sealing device from both sides or ends of the valve. Subsequently, an independent pressurization system or testing pipeline injects the test medium (water, air, nitrogen, etc.) into the fixed valve and pressurizes it to the preset value. By observing the pressure drop of the pressure gauge or sensor, and checking whether there is any leakage on the sealing surfaces of the valve, the quality of the valve can be accurately determined.

Technical performance and feature

◆It is suitable to have a shell test, closure test and back seal test for flanged end valves;

◆No external force affects a testing valve as clamp hold flange

◆Valve can be turned to 90°to have a test(2 turning tables on option) so that it is convenient to carry out air seal test;

◆Test medium is water or air(6 bar gas source supplied by customer,test medium water can be recycling), can bechanged over by pipeline control valve;

◆Equipped LP water filling、 HP water filling and pressure-keeping & timing auto-control system;

◆Equipped automatic oil pressure discharge system, when being ready state, system discharge automatically, whenworking, system return to normal status to effectively reduce oil temperature, elongate life of the test bench andsave energy:

◆Hydraulic clamping has safety interlock with water pressure discharge;

◆Customer can choose the functions as followed: Double turn over;Safety door; Touch screen monitoringsystem;One key automatic monitor system(touch screen computer+ PLC)
