The submersible valve test bench is an advanced testing equipment designed specifically for testing the sealing performance of valves under underwater conditions. Unlike traditional valve pressure testing platforms, it completely submerges the valve in a water tank and determines the internal and external leakage of the valve by visually observing bubbles in the water. This equipment is particularly suitable for valves with extremely high sealing requirements and is an indispensable key testing tool in valve manufacturing, nuclear power, deep-sea equipment, high-end chemical engineering, and strict quality certification systems.
Its working principle is clear and intuitive:
Immersion: Install the tested valve using a specialized fixture and completely immerse it in the transparent water tank of the test bench.
Pressurization: Through an independent pressure control system, a specified test medium (usually compressed air or nitrogen) is filled into the tested valve and pressurized to the standard required test pressure.
Observation: During the pressure holding period, the operator can directly and clearly observe the entire valve submerged in water.
Leakage judgment:
External leakage: If there is leakage in the valve stem, middle flange, or other external sealing parts, a continuous upward flow of bubbles will be generated.
Internal leakage (seat sealing test): If there is leakage on the closing sealing surface of the valve (such as the valve seat), bubbles will emerge at the outlet end of the valve.
This method converts small leaks into visible bubbles, with extremely high sensitivity and accurate judgment results.
◆The test bench is made up of 2 parts: operation control table and clamping pressure test device, clamping pressuretest device can all be submerged under water, which is up or down by oil pressure;
◆Submerged type valve test bench is suitable to have a test for flanged end valves;Submerged top pressure type issuitable to have a test for flanged end、 welded groove or inner tunnel sealing type valves;
◆Test medium is water or air(6 bar gas source supplied by customer,test medium water can be recycling), can be changed over by pipeline control valve;
◆Equipped LP water filling、 HP water filling and pressure-keeping & timing auto-control system;
◆Equipped automatic oil pressure discharge system, when being ready state, system discharge automatically, whenworking, system return to normal status to effectively reduce oil temperature, elongate life of the test bench andsave energy;
◆Hydraulic or screw clamping、 pressing device has safety interlock with water pressure discharge;Customer can choose the functions as followed: Double turn over; Touch screen monitoring system.
